"Visions Past and Present"//An AIHA Seminar

The AIHA proudly presents "Visions Past and Present"; a 1916 Seminar.

For their final 1916 Rising commemorative event, the Australia Irish heritage Association (AIHA) proudly presents "Visions Past and Present". This spectacular seminar will gather some of the most eminent lecturers from across Australia to discuss the history of the Rising, and its resulting its impact on the country, and its people, culture, arts, and diaspora. It will feature topics that have, more recently, been brought the the fore of the narrative, including the role of women in the Rising, while also discussing the absence of the Northern Ireland voice in narrative of 1916.
